74 engine bay decals ??
Other than the "Keep Yo GM all GM" on the breather and the engine spec decal on the firewall......does a 74 LS4 have any other decals under the hood or on the covers?
Hi ffb,
How about the 3 letter broadcast code that was on a sticker on the right-side valve cover?
It's a bit tricky to find a reproduction. ( Hint.. you may have to make one yourself if you really want one).
Regards,
Alan
There should be an orange "Warning" label on the overflow tank. There was a tag on the master cylinder bail with either "TG" (power brakes) or "YA" (standard brakes) in red letters. The wiper motor had a label on it with the part number and a date. Also, if you have air conditioning there was a "Frigidaire" label on the compressor and a "Harrison" label on the evaporator/heater box.
All of the above are reproduced, the broadcast code that Alan referrenced, as he said is not.
Zip use to sell the valve cover code's.
Buy the CJ & the LL code cut the LL in half then you have CJL & attach
