Who here has multiple C3's?
and one had to go.
. Oh well, hard decision but the vert is still here. 70 coupe and a 70 vert both built in january.
One 2.5 year old grandaughter and a new grandson due in september.
All ready told my daughter she can have the cars and give them to the grandkids but only when I'm 6 feet under.
I would like to have a old camaro but currently looking to get a Z06 or grand sport in the future. Still love the vettes.
Next go around came in 2000. Bought 2 more 1971's, both LS6 coupes.

...actually, just trying to thin out the vehicle herd. Had 11,now down to 9.
...wanted to keep the two I had the longest, the Blue '68 for 23yrs, the Orange '74 coupe for 22yrs.
...still have my 1988 WellCraft boat, which I should have more time for and my 2006 Vista Blue Mustang GT convertible with 4700mi on it that I ordered new.
Decided that with retiring from the military, job hunting, probably cross country move, etc, that it was just too much of a hassle (and too much $$$) at this point in time.
If anyome is interested in the car (link in OP), PM me and I'll give details on it.

I have two 74's, a May 03 auto coupe fully loaded I bought 13 years ago and a May 23 four speed coupe I've had just a few months. Sometime next year I'd like to buy a convertible, probably built May 13

I like the '74's, as they were the last year with full dual exhausts, no cats, last year of 454, tach drive tach

and a few other things. I didn't set out to buy another '74, it just popped up for a fair price and I said "Yes."I've just discovered a slipped outer ring on the balancer of the new car, as the timing mark seemed to show it was about 15 degrees retarded. Whenever I tried to make the mark move to the advance position, the motor would stall. So I've set the timing by ear for the time being.
When the car is up in the air for the Borgeson box install, I'll put a new balancer on. As it's almost mid-winter here now, that won't be for a month or two. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy driving it.

I am going to look at a '69 convertible tomorrow. NOM, BB, 4 speed. I have had my '75 for 17 years now and find myself wondering if I am making a good decision to buy another C3.
I am not ready to sell the '75 yet but wonder if I need two C3's. I keep thinking that I should get a '67 Camaro or Chevelle BB instead so I have a car with a back seat.
Decisions, decisions.
Anyway, here is a link to the ebay ad that started all this. You can see the price range. Comments welcome.

But tell me please. was this Corvette as good as they description? I am a bit nervous about my Ebay buy. The car is in Florida, I'm in Missouri. No way could I go to see the car so after many conversation with the lister and lots of photo's hubby and I decided to trust the guy on this one. He has great feedback so that was a positive, owns his own bodyshop, even though he did not restore the 73. The man who had it restored passed away last year and had four Corvettes at the time of his death. His wife sold the other three which were never than the 73. She was hopeing she could keep the 73 but cash flow was an issue so she decided to sell.
I have to locate a radio which fits the car but moste everything else looks OK. My 73 will be delivered Monday or Tuesday.
I am so excited! Hubby has owned two Vettes previously so he actually made the decision to go wuith this deal.
