Default fuel Problem

I have a fresh SB stroker and having fuel problems after running the car or idling for 10 to 15 minutes. The fuel would start to overflow out of the secondary vent tube causing the engine to stall. After a few minutes I can restart the car with my peddle to the floor. After a few minutes it would happen again. At idle my fuel pressure is around 6.5 PSI but after it warms up it goes down to 3. I have a gel filled fuel gauge inline before my carb. I'm running a holley 750 DP, stock mechanical fan and a GM high volume mechanical fuel pump which has been recently changed as I thought the fuel pump was causing the problem. The engine temperature never exceeds 190 but the engine compartment temperature gets extremely hot. I'm also running the polished performer Air Gap intake. Any idea's would be great.

You didn't say what carb you have, but I'll wager the float is saturated or just mis-adjusted. Could also be some trash in the needle and seat.

I'm running a Holley 750. Floats are regularly adjusted, needle and seat have been checked and cleaned.
