This past weekend I attended a Vette cruise with 20 other vettes. I was the only C3. The group included a 60, many Z06's, C5's, C6's and a brand new ZR1. We were all lined up and a couple of gentlemen walked up to me in the line and said "yours is the only real corvette in the group". I took this as the C3 is the most recognizable and popular out of all models. I was happy to hear their comments. If it were only a couple of beautiful 20 something girls then my day would have been made even more.
Lets hears some of the comments you have heard out there....

The only "real" Corvette in a group that included a 1960?
1. They didn't make real Corvettes after 1967
2. They didn't make real Corvettes before 1968
3. What's a C4?
4. What's a Corvette?
3 for $50. 5 for $ 100.
People here sure can't take a joke.
OK, Alex. I'll go for the 1969 Convertible with red-line tires. My guess is the black-on-black restored, a 350/350. My bet is for one men's medium black t-shirt, US-made. If yes and correct I get the t-shirt.

I get favorable comments about both my '75 and '04. Kids are often confused about the different generations of the Corvette. I give them a clif note style history lesson and that helps them understand the evolution of America's Sports Car.

Sorry Paul... I like your taste, but you have to pay the $100 for 5 T shirts like everyone else.
