I have a 1969 Corvette with power brakes. When I push the brake pedal, it goes nearly to the floor and the brake warning light comes on. The car stops but not very well. I replaced all four calipers, all four rubber brake lines, replaced the master cylinder, bleed the brakes numerous times. The steel lines were replaced about 10 years ago and look good. No leaks evident. No fluid is missing from the master cylinder. Still the same problem. Could the power brake booster be the problem? Thats about the only thing I have not replaced.
The problem is its a CORVETTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you replaced everything bleeding might be the problem, start with mast cyl and work farthest caliper to nearest, double bleeders on each.

I bench bleed the master cylinder before installing. I have bleeds the brake manually and using a power bleeder. Usually, if there is air in the system, you can get a firm pedal buy pumping the pedal. No such results.
I have silicone fluid and had to drive and bleed several times to get the air out.I never had the brake light come on except for the first master cyl I got.which was new that turned out to defective.I cant win for loosing here lately.
Sounds like you still have air in the brake lines. I just replaced all my brake components except the booster. After reading all the horror stories on the forum I read the Break Bleeding Sticky in the C3 Tech/Performance section which has complete instructions on manual, pressure and gravity bleeding. I decided to gravity bleed my system after bench bleeding my master cyl.. It worked like a charm the very first try. It takes a while to complete the process but you can do it with no help, it's a one man job.
