I'll post this in the parts section too but figured I'd get more visibility here...
Hoping one of you guys who has removed the computer from their 81 or 82 (are they the same p/n?) has it laying around, possibly for sale. I seem to have misplaced mine over the years, don't even have a core.
You can buy replacement ECU's at many of the Corvette parts vendors now for about $130 or so. Why settle for a 30 year-old component that may fail the first time you fire it up?

Try contacting forum member paullywannafly. He has a large stock of parts at his shop and his prices are reasonable. Tell him Rick from Boston recommended him. I bought a 73 frame from him a few years ago and I was amazed at the used parts stock that he had, and I only saw part of it.
LOL that's funny.
I was always a Radio Shack Color Computer guy though.
In fact I still have the one I got for Christmas '83 and it still works.
I remember riding home with it in the back of the then 2 month old vette.
Thanks for the unintentional trip down memory lane parker!
I'll try sending paullywannafly a message, thanks Rick!
