Thanks to all.

Thank all of you for your kind comments about the 71. As you all know there is a story behind each vette and this one is no different. When I first saw it advertized I was a little reluctant to drive and see it because the previous owner advertized it as originally an automatic, now a 4spd. Well needless to say, it was never an automatic. Someone in the 33years he owned the car told him it was previously an auto because he saw the lockout lever on the steering column and assumed it was an auto

Well after checking numbers, I made him an offer he accepted and here we are. I hope to have as much fun with this one as I did with the other two.
