Motion Phase 3 GT Pictures
Here's just a couple of pictures of Kevin McKay's car at the NCRS Convention. I remember 'Silver Devil' posted a couple of pictures of it taken at Kevin's shop.
Regards,
Alan

Back on track here that Motion car is really done very nice. I have never seen the car in person but in all the pictures it shows very well. Thanks for posting.

It's interesting how different the 2 cars look in the front.... one with black paint in the headlight recesses and one with body color.
I would have bet that I'd like the body color version but the black accented one is more striking.
Nice Pictures!

I recall visiting Motion Performance in 1969-70 when I was a little boy. There was a pearl yellow Phase III GT in their showroom; I would have killed for that car. People can say what they want about the looks; I think they look very exotic.

I like the gas cap on the orange one. It looks a bit different than the cap on the red car.

The lights were inspired by Jag and Ferrari (costing two or three times what a Corvette sold for), two years before anyone here ever heard of a Datsun. There really is no wrong way to build one of these as they were as individual as the owners themselves. Here are some more in different colors/options (some are real B-M, some are "cataloge" cars, and some are clones)

Believed to be the last Phase III GT made, it has been returned to it's original white

I've always liked the "stinger" stripe

The DOT cracked down on the plexi headlamp covers in '69, not many left the shop so equiped

Nicely done cataloge car

Non chrome bumper nose. This may have been a local body shop mod.

While this one is known, it is also missing (stolen from a warehouse after the owner passed away)

Engine bay of a tribute car. Either Torker manifold (angled carb or in line) is "correct" on a B-M car as they left the shop with both (not on the same motor, of course).

I really like the blacked out headlight surrounds, looks great with the stinger stripe and I think both will be on mine eventually.
What is the additional scoop on top of the L88 hood? Is that model available anywhere now if someone wanted to add it to their existing hood?
Also, any idea where a guy might find a set of those lexan headlight covers? I'm not worried about DOT, fairly certain I can pass a VA inspection with them installed.
Thanks again!

That's the one - Thanks.
