When I was young, my father in law used to call my mag wheels CIRCUS WAGON wheels. He never lived long enough to see what circus wagon wheels could look like. These wheels scream BARNUM BAILEY.
LOL... i actually google mapped the florence ave and Huntington park came up as one of my hits. I got too lazy to search up and down it though, I did a citi bank search, but I don't think they had a Citibank listed in H park.
I have to agree they look out of place BUT how does a tire and wheel combo like that handle ?
Not like you would expect. I'm sure those wheels are VERY heavy. That's not what you want when you're looking for max performance. There have been many debates on this subject on the pro-touring and lateral-g forums. The conclusion being 18s is about the upper limit of the handling and performance benefit. Believe it or not 17s seem to be about the "sweet spot" of offering the best handling and performance in the wheel diameter wars. I'm no expert nor am I trying to sound like one but when testing "muscle cars" lap times are lower with 17s than they are with 20s. Imagine what they would be like with those heavy 24s.

Thanks. It would seem the smaller sidewall would be an advantage but it sounds like there is a happy medium to consider.
