Hi there, some previous owner of my car decided in his infinite stupidity to paint the centre console without taking it out or masking it up. So he painted over the washer/wiper lens. I have removed it, sanded the paint off and polished it back to clear again, but on the back the text is just cast in to the clear acrylic, not clear white text like all the pictures I see on the internet. Can someone please post a nice clear close up so that I can see what they should look like and if need be I will replace mine.
Did they have white filling in the lettering originally? All the pictures I see, the writing is crisp, white and visible even without the backlight on, but on mine, you can barely read the text with the light off (or on for that matter).
If you have one available in good condition, please let me know.
The lens was clear plastic and the words WASHER & WIPER were printed on the back side of the lens in white. A small black painted piece of tin was behind the lens.
I have 3 or 4 used AC vent assemblies I can look at, but I don't think any other them have a useable lens, and I don't believe they've been repro-ed yet.
If interested, I have an NOS assembly maybe buy and replace....................Bruce
I have to add this is the complete bezel assembly with vents for an A/C setup.

Thanks Bruce but I have just bought a new everything except for this lens, so all my vents etc are sparkling new.
