This can't be good
So I jack up the 75 to change the oil and while I was under the car I noticed some dampness at the back of the brake proportioning valve. Not sure where it's leaking from, anyone else had a leaky valve?
Also noticed the power steering pump belt is rubbing the frame, short belt??

I just replaced a leaky proportioning valve this winter on my 75. Actually replaced everything, except brake booster and rotors. Started with a leaky caliper and just grew. You know how that is, while I'm at it disease.

There's a lot of 'truth' in that. Once you work to fix a small leak, you will unquestionably find other 'non-compliant' conditions that will warrant additional effort. If a brake line is leaking, that's a "safety" problem and should be repaired. Any other small leaks should be considered as superficial and be logged as 'needing-to-be-dealt-with' when other significant repairs need to be made in that area.
I'll offer another thought on that issue: if a component is leaking and you decide to 'reseal' it, go one-better and rebuild it completely. It will save you time and grief in the long run.

better to deal with the issue once and not have o think about it again.
as for the fan belt I agree with theother_bob check the engine mounts.
before you order a new proportioning valve check to make sure the MC lid gasket is not leaking. Sometimes the brake fluid will run down the line and make it appear to be the proportioning valve and it is not.
