In my local autobone I could see the supercoil I wanted sitting on their shelf. The poor kid behind the counter typed away looking for it but never found it. My newest friend at Orielly never has that problem.

With ANY of these places, including NAPA*, I tell them it's going on a CAR.
They'll always ask "what kind", and I'll reply "a red one".
I then get the "a red what?" and I reply "a red CAR!"....
After they come up with "is it a Chevrolet, Ford or what?" question I'll come back with "I don't know, it's just a red car!"....
*Had to replace a bad "generic" horn button on my VW based Dune Buggy recently. Went to NAPA. Idiot sold me a normally closed button....

autozone has a really good website so you can look up all your parts before you go. You can check a box and they'll pull the parts off the shelf and have them waiting when you arrive.
They don't hassle you when you return parts. One just opened in my town and i'm happier than a pig in ****.
