In my local autobone I could see the supercoil I wanted sitting on their shelf. The poor kid behind the counter typed away looking for it but never found it. My newest friend at Orielly never has that problem.
I always loved going and telling them what part I wanted and when they ask me what it was going on I would say a 59 Austin Healey and watch them go blank

When I go to Autozone, I almost always have a part number.......if they ask me "what's it going on?", I tell them it's not going on anything...I'm just buying the part.

autozone has a really good website so you can look up all your parts before you go. You can check a box and they'll pull the parts off the shelf and have them waiting when you arrive.
They don't hassle you when you return parts. One just opened in my town and i'm happier than a pig in ****.
