Is it tan with a black tracer ?

yes, it comes out the harness right by the defogger switch on the drivers side.

The only tan/black I have found in the troubleshooting manual has to do with the CCC system. Maybe its a testing tap of some kind for the computer ?
I tried to find it on a regular wiring diagram , no luck,82s have a lot of wires.

I have one that looks like that same connector down by my fuse block with no where to go as well... can't find it on any diagrams either. Sorry, no help.

i have a 74... i have the same connector but i think its brown not really sure, mine has a capacitor plugged into it..im thinking its for the radio..

in my book it might be for the left hand seat belt buckle switch, and goes into a sequencing modual, on the 82! Ron
