76 A/C Compressor Mount Bracket
Hello,
I am planing to buy a new A/C Compressor Mount Bracket for my Stock Compressor. But I found that there are 2 type of Bracket some for 76E and other for 76L How could I know if my car need the 76E Bracket or 76L ?

For the bracket you want, early cars had the A6 compressor and essentially the same mounting hardware used 68-76E. Late 76s (May 76 and later) got the R4 radial compressor and the same hardware as the 77 up cars.

If your compressor is long - about 12" with the pulley/clutch assembly, you have an early. If you compressor is about the size of your alternator, you have a 76 late.
