Default Clarkston, MI Corvettes of America Show (Pics)

Saturday was a beautiful day for the show. The threat of thundershowers lasted all day but just sprinkled a few times. Here are a few pics.

Here's some of the 2012 concept

And lots of other Vettes

Looks like a nice turn out. I can't help but think there's some C7 styling ques in that concept car. Thanks for posting.

What a shame..........it looks too much like a C A M A R O or a Camaro - X-L-R mix......HATE IT......!!!

Not only did we loose the flip up headhights with the C-6 it looks like on the C-7 we will be loosing another tell
T A I L
part of history !!! The infamous round rear tail lights...........

.............Maybe it should come out in 2013 as the 50th Anniversary Edition of the 63 split window coupe ????

Looks like a mix of feelings on the concept. I do like it but also agree with 427SIXPACK that we would be losing alot of our historical features that have been with the Vette for years. Keep in mind, this is only a concept right now and not to be confused with production versions. We have these types of cars show up at events all over the Detroit area especially some of the aftermarket make-overs which are also pretty cool. Just threw it out there for a reaction getter.

On Friday, the club also had a Corvette track day at Waterford Hills Raceway and a BBQ in the evening at the Carriage House at Pine Know Golf Course. Thanks to the club and to the club's sponsor Cauley Chevrolet for a great weekend.

The Woodward Dream Cruise (largest rolling car show in the country) is this weekend and the avenue is full of Detroit muscle every night this week.

For the locals, check the club site for upcoming pics.

I really dig the look from this angle. The other angles are harder to swallow. Concepts are exaggerations so this is as close as anything else would be.

Got any shots of the red Z06 in the background? I like the wheel look on that!!
