Default Way Off Topic... Rat Rod

Hi,
Here are some pictures of a car at the local Reese, Maryland car show.
A REAL piece of work!!!!!
I hope it's not to far off topic to stay here!
Regards,
Alan

Hey Alan,

Nice shots

I think that build is way too nice to call it a Rat Rod, but I guess that's the class it would be in.

Sure blows away all the Rat Rods I've seen. Nice!

When are you going to post your car in all its glory?

Hi Ian,
I'm thinking of showing it around next year in honor of it's 40th birthday.
I'm leaning towards putting under car exhaust on it in hopes of earning a Top Flight Award and then changing it back to the way I've always liked it.
It's VERY shy and doesn't get out much.
Regards,
Alan

That is quite some radical work he has done, and speaking of rad? isn't it in the back. He has some strange routings and locations for some of the things he has done, but the workmanship is very nice, thanks again Alan.

That intake setup is too cool!

I love these cars. This is like a rat rod plus a scouring pad and a paint gun. They're always very creative, this is what hot rodding's all about.

Way cool "rat rod" Alan. I want to say I saw it in person at the Street Rod Nationals East in York Pa back in the beginning of June. It's out there but the ideas and the workmanship are outstanding.

Looks like the hoses from the engine are turning backward toward the rear of the car. Probably some sort of electric fan and rad in the back.

Nice pics Alan.

Nice pics Alan.

You can see the rad behind the 'holed' rear panel. Loving the exhaust work!

Hi,
YES!!!!! The radiator is in the REAR of the car!!!! You can see the fins through the large holes FORMED (not just drilled) in the rear panel. There are 2 elelectric fans on the front side of the radiator. There is a VERY sophisticated floor pan system that appears to bring air up to the fans and radiator. It must be called a REAR/BOTTOM breather.
The concept for the whole car, the workmanship, and the detail were a JOY to look at.
Regards,
Alan
