I bought my ZZ4 from Pace. The dolly worked good. He parked across the street, put the engine on a pallet jack after unloading it with the liftgate truck, pulled it across the street, up the driveway and on my dolly right in front of the garage. The dolly was $20 from Harbor Frt. You have to put a piece of plywood on the dolly cause the skid the motor is on doesn't fit directly on the skid.

Think your best bet would be a roll-about engine cradle. These are just small steel frame's on caster's, that bolt to the engine block and can be had for less than $50 buck's with careful shopping. Actually had an engine stored on one of these I welded up myself in my back yard shed for year's. When the new owner came to get it, layed down a couple 3/4" 2' x 8' sheet's of plywood in alternation, and got it across the lawn no problem. As for the plywood, bought a 4' x 8' sheet from Home Depot, and they ripped in half for me at no extra charge.

What works for me?

Tip the driver $50. He will move it anywhere you want.
