There are two factory tie down points that fit T-hooks. You can then cross the tie downs in an X. The factory points are just in front of the rear tires on both sides. They are easy to get to on an open trailer, but are a pain on the enclosed. On my enclosed trailer I put the T-hooks on before I load the car and have strings attached so I can pull them back and attach the tie downs.

In the front, go through the A-arm openings by the conrol arm shaft making a "V" from left/right sides and right/left sides. The rear, I go around the spring bolts again going left/right and right/left for lateral stability.
I have trailered C2/3 race cars over 1000 miles in a day over really bad highways using this system for over 28 years with no problems.
Thanks for the information and especially the detailed pictures, I appreciate it
