Default Carpet Install Instructions

Does anyone have good carpet install instructions? It looks easy but I want to make sure that I'm following the correct sequence. thanks

There may not be any written instructions. The AIM has useful diagrams. Most people start in the rear and work forward. At the plant, the front carpets were installed last after the water test.

I just did mine and i found these instructions:

These instructions are good but I still had a struggle with the rear wheel arch pieces.

did you put the rear fender well carpet under the bulk head carpet or over it? i am thinking over it but either way is not looking good.

i have just replaced my carpet from grey to black, it takes a bit of work, but it can be done, just need to take your time

Hi DJ,
I agree that the wheel well arches are the toughest.
You also need to be very careful when you plan the cuts and flaps for the seat tracks.
It helps a lot if you can get the special scissors the trim shops use... the one that has a dial you set to CUT or UN-CUT.
