My right front inner fender has a damaged place right at the top of the cutout for the rubber flap that covers the upper a frame.A section is broken out where some of the plastic fastners attach.Hard to notice with the rubber flap on but there is about 4 inches of fiberglass broken off.How hard is it to replace the inner fender?I would like to just get it repaired instead of replaced if it wouldnt be detectible. It just bugs me knowing its there. You know how it is.
Mine isnt as extensive as that.Just the very top of the cutout is broken off.I thought about buying a used section an glassing it in but the car is super nice except for this one place.I have never fooled to much with fiberglass.Maybe a body shop can repair it to where you couldnt tell it was done.I would rather have it repaired than replaced.I dont have a clue to how it happened.Maybe someone droped something on it and broke off the section. The car looks to have never been wrecked.Even the seams on it look untouched.Just an odd place for damage to me.I wish I had never seen it.Now it it bugs the crap out of me.Now to find a good body shop that deals in fiberglass in N MS.
