In my situation, my car is left outside the garage as my little brothers vette sits in pieces inside. So with all this awesome rain from the tropical storm that just landed, I wanted to know how many other owners have to park thier cars outside.
I keep mine in a tent structure from Northern Freight. It's described as an "instant garage" in the catalog. But I am negotiating with my landlord to use one of his lockable garages once he finishes pouring a concrete floor.
try not to ever, it LEAKs, i would invest in some type of cover. or ez up to at least cover the cabin area. there is an 80 model here in town that sits outside all the time.
Mine is outside because a 65 convertible is inside the garage now, all torn apart. It has taken over the garage, probably for good. I don't see them swapping places in the future.
Mine was sitting out in the elements for years until I started stripping it down to the glass this summer. I had used "the WALL" sold by our sponsored vendor and was very happy. I had to replace it once at about 5 years old but bought the exact same.
So I had to vote on the garage kept, as is current, although the vast majority of it's life with me has been outside. I wouldn't have done that though if I wasn't happy with any car cover.
I'm just up the road in Prosper and could not imagine leaving it outside in the rain that got dumped on us today. Mine was in the garage, honestly I have no idea if my car leaks or not but my plan is to never find out.

Mine is under a carport and covered at all times. I'm pondering a new home purchase with a garage in the near future just for my cars. I have a C5 as a daily driver. It's not so much the elements in the Tucson desert as the cars are in the shade most the time, it's the dust! I have to use my duster every morning before I drive to work and the C5 is black!
No way. Inside always. I've looked at too many rusty Corvettes for sale here in Ohio to keep 'em outside. My '75 L-82 convertible sits in a heated garage all winter.
My toys are always put away at night. I have to park my pickup outside though, and also my wife's car. There's really no point in my building additional storage for those vehicles because I would just acquire more toys and use up the extra parking space.
I have a hobby farm out in the boonies where it should be unusual to see another C3 but there's a black `81 within a mile of my place. I feel bad for the car. It sits outside all year round, including parking it on the grass for extended periods and mowing around it. If it was a horse the owner would be up on charges of animal cruelty.
My Hagerty insurance requires that it be in a locked garage at night when I am not using it. I have a two car garage, and at the moment, both DDs sit outside, so I actually have room for another....
