Default Rear end information - what year?

Hello
I have a corvette rear end and I need a leaf spring for it. I am trying to find out what year and gear ratio the rear end is.
I has many numbers stamped on it-

Alcoa
14008656
59421
39421
C39584
10 30 79

It looks like it is a 79, but from what I have read it could be a 84.
What leaf springs would work on this unit?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

10/30/79 would be 1980 production. Your rear should be an aluminum Dana unit and could use either of the steel leaf springs. You can also upgrade to the 81-82 fiberglass spring.

Easy Mike
Thanks for that information. I just called a local yard and they asked if it was a 2 1/4 or a 2 1/2 (width). Should either one work?
Also they told me that the mounting plate will have different sized holes.
