Just bought a 1973, horn doesn't work....I press the button and I hear a click sound like a reply just activated. Release the button and another click. Suggestions?
test your horns. unplug the wire to the horn and look for 12 volts when you press the horn button. run a jumper wire from the battery to the horn terminal on the horn itself see if it blows.
the click means your horn relay is kicking off, but now you need to see if it is sending current down the wire to the horn and see if the horns themselves are bad. also, plug a known good horn into the wire and see of it works..
of course make sure all is grounded correctly also.

Could be the horns are bad. I had to replace mine recently, seem to have died while sitting for a long time. Some vendors will rebuild them.
Others offer reproductions or replacements.
