Subtle enough that I don't mind it.

Don't like it with the C6 flag.

Here is one with the C3 flag.

The C6 logo has a more sinister look to it than the C3 crossed flags.

I like the idea, but I'm not sure I like execution of it. I'll have to keep coming back to look at it. In a couple days, I'll either love it or hate it. It's too early to tell just yet.

I am guessing that most people here don't even know who or what "Jake" is.

That is the official mascot of the GM factory Corvette Racing team.

I see so many people with those stickers on their vettes, and when I ask them about it, they don't even really know what it is supposed to be about!!!

If you are a fan of the team, then I see nothing wrong with supporting them. If you have it on your car just 'cause it's a fad, well then thats wrong. IMHO anyways. I have him under my hood:

None of the folks manning the GM race team tent at last month's Carlisle event knew either...even when I specifically pointed to the decal on the 2 display cars.

Thanks for posting the pic of your hood. My ZL1 hoods looks the same except for your decal.

Might I ask what model air filter you used to fit the opening? My 3.75" tall K&R E-3030R is awful tight, to the point of bending some of the filter pleats.

Got Jake on my lunch box I carry to work. Nothing on my vette though. I do like the sticker on yours. Pretty cool. Did you make it?

I owned a C6 that I showed for a couple of years, so I'm familiar with the Jake skull. But it's a C6 thing, especially since it originated with the C6R.

It doesn't really go with the look of your Vette.
