Default First real Sunday drive.

It was a nice warm day today, 21c which is about 74 F. The car ran great, one little problem which i took care of. The E brake clip was clipping the wheel weight on the inside of the tire? it dug a pretty good hole in it, but i moved the clip and will see what happens. here are some pictures of the day in the park.

Nice pictures.

After wrenching all weekend on the 82, and a short time on a 72 LT1 with air I took mine out for about an hour. Nice to be out in it. Always a good day for a cruise.

Hey thats great news, after all that work and now you get to enjoy it.
So how did it feel to be driving the vette instead of getting it ready to
drive? My guess is you were wearing a big grin the whole time, even
while messing with the brake clip.

Congratulations,
Riggs.

mine has been parked most of the summer , so i washed it & drove over to the mall parking lot to dry her off...some little kid , being towed along by his mom...he said "look mom a Batman car"

i almost died laughing...then some little old lady driving a mini-van pulls up & asks if the color is original...then exclaims "its beautiful"

funny how usually the very young or very old seem to appreciate the C3 ...the inbetween could care less...
Pete.

The roads here are absolute ****, so that makes driving the car here not a whole lot of fun. Looks like we have $400 million for a new football stadium, but no money for roads? Go figure.

Hello Sheldon.

Saw your car out on the street yesterday and in Wascana Park and let me tell you , my friend, IT IS A HEADTURNER!!! You did an outstanding job on it. The paint looked like it was still wet. Who painted it??? Looks very good. I especially like the int/ext color combo and the stance. It is sitting just right. Enjoy the ride -It's a beaut.

The car was painted when i bought it. I hit it with some mcquires car show glaze sunday morning. Thanks for the compliment. There was a guy in the park on Sunday with a white 73 454 car, it looked pretty good.

Hi G,
Your car really does look great!
I'll bet the fashion police let the shorts stay this last time since Fall/Winter will soon be here!
Regards,
Alan

Great day for a ride, nice looking vette. I took my 64 out Sunday to a car show with they said 594 cars, it was a fun day, but I did have the top up and the heater on. Still had fun and a great ride.
