carburator replacement
I am thinking about replacing my carburator on my 1976 Corvette. The engine is all original and I'd like to keep it that way. What carb would be recommended taking into consideration original air intake/air cleaner?

The only carb that works with the original intake/air cleaner is the Quadrajet.
No-one makes new Quadrajets any more.
There is no reason to randonly replace yours and if it getting tired, a rebuild kit from Cliff Ruggles http://www.cliffshighperformance.com/ will do the trick.
