I waxed my car for the first time today... It has been a couple of years since I painted it and I have been holding off waxing it so I finally did it today. I even cleaned the rest of the car and applyed leather conditioner on the seats.
I think it looks o.k. for a at home paint job and being my first time painting at that.

Nice work. It turned out great. I have been holding out on mine too. I have just washed it a few times since it was painted 5-6 ago. I just don't want to add to the scratches that I have put in it already.
[QUOTE=69 Chevy;1575500786]From the placement of those fluorescent lights, it looks like you have a psuedo-paintbooth in that block building.
What paint process did you use...acrylic lacquer, then color sand, polish, and now finally, carnauba wax?
I used ppg base clear, wet sand , polished and then waxed. The building is the garage I redid the car in. It is a 24x48 and I also painted the car in there also. Never mind the black streaks on the floor, the throttle must have stuck. The vette resides in the addition on the side of the main building.
