I am working on an 82 Collector edition. I got it in pieces so I did not take it apart and have a few questions. First one is the mounting of the drivers seat. It is power and I can see in the AIM that the brackets have studs that go through the floor. On the other side it just shows nuts. Are there special nuts with washers? Or are there some kind of plates. All I have is some holes that look to be about 1/2 diameter. From the marks it looks like some big washers or big washer nuts.
#2 is under the front of the car. The spoiler and what looks to be like a "baffle" as they call it. This is missing. Anyone have a better picture of this? The spoiler looks like a 2 piece spoiler also. Here is what I have now.
the nuts are those special nuts that have the washer made to them...the washer is about the size of a half dollar., the nut is normal size....the washer i THINK rotates on the nut
the baffle i can post a pic of tonight...i have one laying in my storage building at home. If you buy one, dont buy the ones that are fiberglass...I did for my 81...and they fit like crap. Try to get a urethane one.

I figured that is what the nuts looked like I just wanted a confirmation. Thanks for the tip on the baffle. A picture would be great. I'll have to contact the owner and see if it is somewhere at his home.
I found the baffle. After communicating with the owner he said it was in the back. It was under a bunch of interior parts so I thought it was part of the interior. After a small amount of digging there it is. Thanks for the help. That will save a few $$$.
