Frame Interchange

Will a 1975 four speed frame work to replace a 1978 four speed frame?
Is there anything different (bare frame no suspension) between them?

Could be minor work to adapt, but haven't tackled it myself. In any event, keep in mind auto transmission frames have a removable trans cross-member, in case that feature is of any interest to you. Here is some frame info that might help...

It should work. My interchange manual only goes through '77 and it shows a '75 working with '76 and '77 "but are not identical".
