here in Oregon, its a high school kid driving a Honda complete with a Fart Tube muffler that tries to blow me off at the light. I always let them so the cop will pull him over first. then i proceed to my destination with a big smile as I pass them sitting at the side of the road..
My favorite reply to the kids with fart canned hondas is beat me or not i am still in a classic vette and you still drive a honda so why should I bother.
haha man i kinda feel bad now. I am the person that you laugh at. but i sold the truck and am building a vette now. i needed something milder and smaller. that truck was wicked powerful. have you ever driven a crew cab tuck that could lift the front tires off the ground?

If you were to follow me around a corner at speed in a crew cab truck, two wheels would come off the ground alright, just before it rolls into the ditch. Personally fast deisel trucks do nothing for me, I have seen them on TV and at the track, but park one next to my Vette and see which gets the attention, and I even live in truck country. My baddd truck is my Mazda B3000 4X4 that I drive to work and will haul my huge Buck from the woods this Saturday morning! :O) I can go zero to sixty in 30 seconds or so!!! Top that!
Yeah really... if you expect me to risk my driver license to race you, then you'd better have something better than a truck. The hardest one I ever had to turn down was (no lie) when I was driving my '05 C6 (now sold) to my own wedding, and a Ferrari F430 pulled beside me at a light and revved up. Under any other circumstance I would have done it, but I didn't want to explain why I was in jail during my own wedding.
What? Should have raced him, your fiance should understand.
You did the best thing!!!! As previously stated we are the ones in the classic car. And we sure do get all of the looks and thumbs up even when our cars are parked.
You've got to realize most of these these guy's are just messing around for fun. One of the well known performance tuner's live's in my area, and have seen my share of fast vehicle's. Had a pretty mundane looking Ford F150 riding my daily car bumper entering the freeway, and just flat out flew once he got on. My current Vette is a C6 ZO6, and dont get messed with much.
