Nice find!
I wish mine was in that good of shape when I found it. I had weeds growing on TOP of the differential! when I pulled the rear end out, I had to pull the weeds, too.
I am going to replace/restore the console in my '81. The previous owner had glued and screwed some faux wood paneling to the console plastics so I will be replacing what I have to. I am also going to take the gauge lenses off and polish them. Depending on the time and funds I have I would like to get the AC blowing stronger. Fan motor feels like it is dying as it barely pushes any air while on high. The PO has a new compressor, dryer, and lines put on, filled with Freeze-12, but its still not blowing cold. May also try repainting the front nose in early spring.
I hate faux wood...I'm glad to hear your getting rid of it, LOL.
69 Vert
New wiring harness for the complete car and interiour, including heater core, blower motor, all vacuum lines and actuators, switchs and relays, I've been gathering up the parts for the last couple of years.
Over the last three years I've installed a GMPP ZZ454, TKO 600, complete brake job and all suspension items.
Almost forgot, VBP steering rack conversion and tilt steering column as well.
We have long winters here, I'll need all the time this year!
drain and clean fuel tank
replace fuel supply & return line
rebuild carburetor
'72:
remove A/C and heat system
install Vintage Air system (if I get the funds to buy one)
pull trailing arms and send them to Gary for 31 spline axles and rebuild
pull steering box and send to Gary for rebuild
replace ball joints, bushings, tie rod ends in front-end
clean-up and re-paint calipers, upper and lower A-arms, suspension
replace front shocks
install '69 gills in egg crate openings
'73:
continue with interior re-do
fix cracks in floor fiberglass
replace seat belt mounts
clean and seal bird cage
'82:
continue with nose installation and complete re-paint
This is the plan, at least. I don't know how much of this I will actually get done.
I recently bought a 88 TpI. I caught from aguy who ran into money problems. The motor, tranny and rear are done. A lttle paint and body work. And a exhaust! I'm tossed up with which one to use?
Get my front and rear suspensions installed. That should just about take care of my 1st quarter Corvette budget. Then I'll clean-out the garage so I have some elbow room to move around again!!!
This isn't the 'Vette, but I shot this yesterday. It's a 10:1 396 with an M-20 Muncie and a 4.11 posi. The car is super tight, and a blast to drive. Most of this was shot in first gear and about the fastest I was going was around 45 mph. It kinda hurts to drive it with my bad back, but a I get perma-smile every time I do. Sorry about the bad quality, all I could do was wedge the camera against the windshield. That didn't work very well.
The whole point to post this in here was the winter plans aren't for the 'Vette, I have to get this in paint this winter. I plan on putting back on the street after a 25 year absence.

I just put the '75 into the shop with the following problems. Burned out bulbs in the dash, new speedometer cable, new tach board, new stereo speakers, parking brake adjustment. Should get it back this week just in time to drive it a little before it gets cold.
I am hoping to continue blasting suspension parts and painting them. Once I get done with all that I will be rebuilding trailing arms and the differential.
