He says that he will trade for a portable saw mill. I think I'd rather have the saw mill.......it's probably safer.

I think it's appropriate that it's sitting in front of what appears to be an outhouse.

So is this thing a two seater now? For the cost of the car and conversion there is no telling what one could've bought in the early 80s.

The definition of "Professional" is one who gets paid to do something. As long as you're getting paid for it, you're a professional. This is a professional hack job.
But honestly, back in the early '80's, you could get a 2 door hard top Chevelle cheap. I paid $250 for a '69 Chevelle that passed Pa. inspection many moons ago. A real SS that was a running/driving car could be had for $1,500-2,000. You couldn't give away a four door back then. Especially if it had a sun roof installed. They were just parts cars. So back then, $50 for the car, a $30 keg of beer, a couple chop saw blades and crap load of welding sticks were super cheap. After you drank a keg of Budweiser, I'll bet this seemed like a great idea!
....but now-a-days? I'm not even sure I could get $3K worth of usable parts out of it.
