Think this engine can be saved?
What (if anything) do you think I should offer for this engine? Think I can tear it down and media blast it or try to fix it up and get it working again?

Pull the heads off and see what conditions the cylinders, and all internals are in. It looks like it's been sitting for a while. The insides must look nasty since the lifter valley area was left uncovered. A lot of water must have gone inside and caused lots of rust. Let us know how it goes. Good luck

That either a buick, pontiac or oldsmobile....definetly not a Chevy either way... stop at the DR's office and get a tetanus shot before opening that baby up.

Hrmmm well maybe it isnt going on my Vette then lol. The search continues I guess... im pretty sure I can get a clean block for $150 around here.
