Mine labeled My car the Mistress, and I believe that She is giving Me alone time with her in the garage? She did come out once to ask Me something when I was trying to get the e-brake pads on just as I screamed something out? She just said nevermind tucked her head back in the house, and would never tell Me what she was going to ask.LOL Nice pics and the more help the better on a project that size.

my wife helps by not asking how much I paid for something... and giving me kind words of encouragement. But I have to hand it to her this year she went with me on part of the HRPT even though the AC went out a couple of weeks before the tour started.

When my wife comes to the Cruise-In, she socializes, but isn't into the cars at all.

My wife helps whenever I ask, usually when I need a small pair of hands, like when your trying to replace the neutral safety switch on the clutch under the dash. For the most part I like working on things myself though. She is also a big help in that she never questions what I buy

My girl hates driving in it. It's too hot, loud and uncomfortable for her. Every date night that involves driving in the corvette ends up being a disaster. I think the car hates her too. It breaks down every time she is in it.

But, she loves seeing the car in the garage and loves showing it off to her friends and family. She even goes to car shows with me.. well behind me actually (in her minivan, with our daughter)

She's ok with me spending money on it. (So that she that gives her a reason to buy all the crap that she wants).

Mine helps in the best way...not bother me when I'm in the garage working. If I'm working under the car I have her check once in a while to make sure the car didn't fall on me :-)

I am fortunate enough to have found a wife that was raised around race cars (we met at a dirt track in Pa.) My only problem is she wasnt satisfied until she bought her own......She does all the clean and detailing work and usually keeps me company for any of the mechanical work......I keep the fridge in the garage stocked with beer so she doesnt have so far to walk.

My lady helps as long as its not to cold out in my shop or too hot. But she will come out even then if I ask. You have a very sexy lady there, someone to be proud to be with!!

Your lucky. I have not met one that truly appreciates/interested in hot rods/Vettes, muscle cars, etc... More like coach purses and department store sales. Go figure....

I see you live in the DFW area, that is part of the problem. The city is not the place to find a girl that likes cars.

My wife and I have an agreement....

I take dancing lessons, she'll go to the "car things" with me.

It's a stalemate....

The Vette was a birthday present from the wife though, so she is a keeper...:

I have never found a girl who would help with a car. Whenever I bring up a project I finished or get excited about a new part I bought they look at me like I am stupid. They don't last long. The projects do They are all fun though, the girls and the projects.
