Mine knows that my Vette is very loud and very fast. She also knows that it's the most beautiful thing on Earth...behind her of course

Good to see you've got some help though!

Mine wants too....shes just not a mechanically inclined person. Does the fact she helps me pay for the toys I buy count?

So she works on the vette while you take pictures? Nice deal! My wife rides in the vette, but that's about it.

If I had a daughter like that I wouldn't kick her out of the garage!

No. She could care less about my car. That is OK. It is my time. In the 30 years I have owned a performance toy I think she has riden in it maybe 5 times. It is just not her thing.

You're a lucky guy!
Car talk to my wife is greek, but that's ok. She sort of knows the difference between a SB and BB though. It's not her thing.

Great to have help!! My daughter occasionally helps me out when I'm cleaning the vettes.

It looks like you have a lot of room to work.......I wish I had the much space to work on mine.

I just wish my wife would stay out of the hospital. I lost four weeks of working on my project this summer because of hospital stays and a lot more time because I had to take care of her between hospital stays. O well, at least she knows she's more important than the Vette.

For every hour I have put into the restore...Joanne has matched me, some where between 30 & 45 minutes per my hour. After we get through driving, with friends, car shows or just out for a drive, she helps me clean her back up, and tucks her back to bed. Wouldn't have it any other way Fun when you can do things together! Oh yea, she likes to drive too, and I get a kick out watching her! Muddy

Edit: Bert...ya got a keeper for sure...so do I!! Work hard, play hard!! Thumbs up!!

Default help

I managed a resto shop for five years and was working 7 days a week 16 hours a day when we first met so she spent a lot of time at the shop.we had an old school motor builder and he loved fords so at least once a week I would get him so mad he throw his hat on the ground and say lets go and we would race anything from #s matching z28s to fully restored hemi cudas the 428 mustang was his favorite.and she would do the arm drop. the owner was a rich friend that was just as crazy but I always got to do the performance test drives.

My girl helps! She helped me bleed the clutch on my '99 Z28 and we had it done in 5mins. She does not know much about cars but she likes my '81 Corvette and says "I am so glad you have something you are so passionate about" I also got her in to watching Top Gear with me! Relationships are all give and take and we make a good team helping each other with our projects. She is the best!
