Stolen ?
I have a buddy that sent me a craigslist ad about a corvette chassis and body for sale around him.I looked at it and thought it seemed to be ? funny.
anyone have an orange 70 to 72 vette stolen in the last couple of years ?
I am going to go look at it as soon as I get a chance.

I havent heard of any lately but it only takes a word of mouth like your doing here to get to someone that might have had one stolen.
Try to get some numbers off of it if possible.
If you can slide under the car look at the seatbelt reenforcement plate on the passenger side next to the driveshaft and theres a date on the plate. See if it jives with the dates of the body and frame. A lot of people have no idea theres a date on them if things have been swaped out. The date should be before the build date on the trim tag.
