Would someone actually pay $14,000 for this thing?

Allen is right, they were not the rage. One of the top customizers in the country made the only ones I know of. Chuck Miller of 'Styline Customs in River Rouge Mi. made them.....There could not be over a handful made {maybe 5-6} as he brought one to the 2010 Detroit Autorama last February.......Google him for much more information on his unique builds.....his last 'Station wagon Vette is also there under one of his internet links

.he repaired one of my Vettes

Mr. Miller was not the only one to make the beauties; in fact there were kits available through Ecklers so anyone could ruin a Corvette.

I am curious who made these and how many have been made. What are they called? Their has been a black one that shows up every year to Kool Deadwood Nites. I have never seen anybody by it to ask what it story is. I do however have a picture of it every year, because of how much it stands out.

I remember that someone on the forum has one. It is on his avatar.

And I will agree, they were not "all the rage"!
