i need to order left and right trailing arms for my 82.i have priced them at several places .wide range of prices .is there any i should stay away from or one any better than others.i also need new strut bushings .should i also get the new adj bolts or should my old ones be okay?i know i need new shims ,is there any thing else i should think about ?
I got ALL my suspension parts at ZIP......................
get in touch with them they will get you where you need to be.
Their trailing arm service is great.
this is a valid link, hilite, right click, copy, paste the whole thing..............
Depending on what you're looking for, complete or just the arm makes a big difference. For an assembled arm I've heard that Bairs Corvettes is great but there's lots of options on where to go for that. If you just want the arm then a good set of rust free pre-owned pair will do fine.

We offer many different ways to renew your arms. We can rebuild yours, we have rebuilt arms available, and we have completely new assemblies.
Looks like I'm coming late to this party, but we can also give you a hand, from complete trailing arms to components and service. Let me know if you have any questions.
easy mike thanks for your reply .my car has 100k on it i am shure that the front bushings of the trailing arms are bad .the bearing on both sides have a lot of play and make noise .the strut rod bushings are shot yes i can replace them but, is it better to go with the new adj type ?with as much work as the arms need i think its best to buy allready done .bolt and play sounds good .andrew your not late. it will be at least a week before i get started.thanks for all imput
You might want to check out this place. Since you have to pull your TA's out anyway, this is a good price for rebuilt TA's. If I was doing this, this is the way I'd go.

I'll put in a plug for Van Steel. I bought a pair of remanufactured trailing arms that looked like new. They were more than generous with the core exchange also. They are a long-time Supporting Vendor as are some of the others who have responded to this thread.
Having your arms rebuilt vs exchange units or new units would definetly save you some money. Your down time is a little longer but you don't have to pay as much either. We also offer a lifetime warranty on our bearing assemblies. If you decide to go with us, call your order in and tell us your a forum member and we'll give you 10% off your order.

with Rick. A true pleasure to deal with. Not saying the others are not but my trailing arm experiences were with VS.
Van Steel rebuilt mine about a year ago. Trailing arms looked new (probably better than new actually). Great company to do business with, and I got the strong impression they really care about their customers and their cars.
