I purchased my 1969 Corvette convertible new in the summer of 1969. The MSRP was $6,009.90 I still have the original invoice. It is now 100% restored and sitting in my garage. Any other original owners of C-3's out there?

That must be one well optioned car to have cost that much.
Tinted glass, Aux. hardtop, Vinyl Roof, Air Condition, Positraction, Power brakes, 4 speed, Telescoping steering wheel, White srtiped tires, Fender louvers, AM FM Radio, Power steering. Orange exterior and black interior. Air conditioning cost $428.70 which is about 10% of the base cost of the car.

I do have all the paper work. I traded in a 1968 Dodge Charger, 4-speed, 383 engine for the Corvette. Today, the Charger is probable worth more than my Corvette!
I have pictures but have had no luck posting them on the forum.

Here's how.
Go to photobucket.com and open a free account.
After your done, browse for the pics on your PC, pick & download the files. Once downloaded click on and copy the IMG code, mine does this automatically when I move the cursor over the code list below each image, and paste the code in your thread or post. You’re done.

I love hearing from guys (and girls) who have kept their brand new C3 and still drive them today. I was a little boy in 1969 and wanted one when I was going to be a grown-up. Took me a few years longer but here I am. Still no comparing to someone who bought it with 0 miles in a dealership way back when.
