Assembly Instruction Manual - a must for anyone that works on their own car, they are year specific for your car.

Well said. Lots of verbal battles that go on here I doubt would happen if the "spirit" of the comment was easier to realize.

Different but you will sometimes see AIM diagrams printed in the chassis service manual.

Purchase the AIM for your year and take a look.

Vette people is a different breed...
When I drove street rods and went to car shows the Vette people wanted nothing to do with us under dogs... Now I have a Vette and I hope to change the view of a few street rod owners... I would rather be an under dog than an yuppie anyday...

I'm sorry, but that is beyond my ability. I try to not even post when Q-jets come up. I hate them with the intensity of 100,000 white hot imploding super-novas.

No sir, I don't like them. ...But I'm just crazy like that.

As far as the AIM goes, mine's about 5 inches thick. I needed to combine a few of them to cover all the years that got caught up in my car. That's the problem with getting it "One piece at a time".

I've learned it's best to fly under the radar.

I'll add this though:

#7 or 8 : Don't question or challenge supporting vendors...is a quick ticket to 'banned' camp.

Here is a possible addition, it goes well in all areas of daily life: Remember that everything you know may not be everything someone else knows, and the reverse is also true.

Most importantly,

6. Have patience with the new members of the forum, they will learn in time as you and I did.
