Don't go by ANY Corvette Magazines, E-bay, or Suppliers when it comes to 68 parts. Most list 68-69 / they will fit "SOMETIMES" and more then most wont, & if they do they are incorrect !!!
They have no clue when it comes to 68 parts. Many are one year only parts & have minor differences from 69 that may cause them not to fit or look correct.
1968 = trial & error in many cases & your better off asking here then relying on a parts catalogue !!!
Hi IC,
If the question was about 71s I would have answered without looking. I'm realizing how much variation there was between 68-72 and how little I know besides 71 sb 4 speed cars.
Regards,
Alan
All 68s manual shifters used a chrome plated, steel ****. It is the same **** as 64-67, 3 and 4 speed shifters used. 69-81 used a "black chrome", steel ****.
