all t he miles i've ridden motorcycles i never got seriously hurt in a crash. the first time i got on a sled i ended up in Hartford hospital with 2 broken femurs. i havent gotten on one since 75 mph on snow just felt wrong to me.
Was hoping to get my Skidoo out this winter, but don't think I am ready yet this year, hoping to get out next winter. I have been riding for years, I just recently sold all my vintage sleds and only have a couple newer ones left, I ride a 700 twin MXZ, with a few performance tweeks.

I use to have a few when I was back in Ontario on Lake Simcoe. My old 440 TNT would do about 80mph on the lake , rolled it one night when I got it sideways on polished ice then hit snow, looked like Richard Petty in the 88 Daytona 500 doing barrel rolls for what seemed forever. Parts everywhere, got on pulled the cord and drove it home LOL
The 7500 Blizzard was even more fun doing 105mph on the roads out to the ice huts...
Got tired of cold and snow
Have a great winter on that!
Out of the sled game for awhile now as well.
To much money to sit around unused for so many months.
Had a 78 Olympic, 81 Citation 3500, 91 Indy Trial, 93 I.T Deluxe, 97 Formula 500, '00 mxz 600, 05 Legend 700. Plus a couple drag sleds over the years.

No trail pass since 2006........$200 for a pass now so I heard. To many losers and kids out there that can't drive a high horsepower sled in my opinion......Last time I rode a trail I had to take evasive manouvers to keep myself in one piece....A-hole with a T-Cat was sideways around a corner, I took to the bush to avoid him. He did stop and run back to help me get the sled out of the deep snow, but WOW....was I pissed....I suggested to him and his buddy that they leave before I change my mind and lay a beat-down on him, AND his buddy ( just because the buddy was there, not that he did anything). They left pretty quick. I rode the road home that afternoon!!....last time I rode the trail.
now my blood pressure is up....thanks....thanks alot........
