I have bought a couple of different types of bleeders to bleed my brakes and neither one works. Does anyone in the Virginia Beach area have a motive power bleeder that I could use. I have a 79 l48 with power brakes. Would really like to get my car back on the road but I can not get all the air out of the lines.

Check Speedway motors- I got mine from them a couple years ago for less than just about everyone. Don't plan on using the chain/wing-nut stuff to hold the top on the M/C.
I've ended up not filling the bottle with anything but air- less mess. Install the cover on a full M/C, pump it up, and bleed. Checking the M/C frequently. Don't have to worry about rinsing the bottle out, getting brake fluid all over. Makes it easier for me.

I made my own. I used a small yard sprayer from Home Depot, a few plastic fittings, silicone tubing and a piece of flat steel I drilled and bolted fittings to that the tubing is clamped to. I put a piece of rubber on the bottom of the flat steel to make the seal to the master cyclinder. Like Tim says, no fluid, fill the MC and use air pressure...just a few pumps. Pay attention that you don't run out of fluid and you'll be good.
