Nose emblem - HELP w/advice
Which Corvette vendor has the best nose flag emblem for a '72? Best quality and fit??? Can anyone help me? I've heard some of the reproductions aren't up to OEM standards in colors and fit.
I thought I had a new in the box emblem but apparently I have a 73-74 nose emblem. So, I need to get the correct one.

The correct one is made by Trim Parts and can be bought from them, or any of the Corvette vendors. It's US made, from the original GM molds, has all the GM markings on the back side of the casting, and is the correct shade of red. It sells for about $39.00, though Trim Parts usually has a price increase around January every year.

Yeah, the cheap ones from eBay really suck. I bought a new gas door emblem for my 73, and the black and white paint came right off the checkered flag, when I was washing the car. It looked good for about 6 months after I put it on the car. I think I paid about $24 for that one.
