Default Thought I would share

Was out of town for New Years Celebration and stopped in at the Chevy dealership. These were in the show room. Forgot to ask about a truck I was interested in

ENJOY

I didn't have my camera so had to come back the next day. Told the salesman I would be back but I don't think he believed me Until I showed up the next day.

1970 convertible with 454 (not numbers matching) in very nice shape. Didn't check the mileage sorry. Runnning 225/75/15 tires. Asking $44,500.00

1965 with an LS motor. Can't remember which LS but it is a 2005 motor if that helps. Maybe someone can figure it out for me. It has a ZO6 405HP badge on the side of the car. Car is ALL custom. Tremec 5spd, soft white leather, custom exhaust. VERY nice car. Dealership owner got it at Barrett Jackson auction (salesman says). Owner drives it 2-3 times a year only. Asking $140,000.00

2010 ZR1 asking $130,000.00

If I had to buy ONE it would be the ZR1. But only because I have a '68 in the garage already. Otherwise it would be the 65.

PS all dollar amounts are in Canadian $$$

The dealership does look nice, neat, and clean.
I would pick the ZR1 also.
How much would the "right" upper radiator hose help the under hood appearence of that '70 B/B?

Canadian prices, the local vette shop around here (Surrey, BC) thinks the going rate for a 74-82 in decent shape is $20,000+.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rd...137598521.html, one of many.

Hi,
Nice to see cars like those just waiting for someone to enjoy looking them over.
I'm curious what the 2 $130/140k cars will be selling for in 10 years and 20 years?
Nice to imagine having $100k to spend on a toy. Where do you find a wife who won't put your suitcases on the curb to greet you when you drive home?
Regards,
Alan

Default What a bargain!!

PS all dollar amounts are in Canadian $$$ [/QUOTE]

So,

For about $5.000 Australian dollars plus freight, I could pick up a nice customised C2, eh???

FYI, the Aussie $ is now buying about US$1.02, so god knows how many Kanak $$ it would buy.

Nice cars, thanks for sharing.

Regards from Down Under

Wow, for $44,500 you would think that they would include the floor carpets in that '70...

If you buy it for $44.5k I bet they do throw some floormats in

Nice catch on that front plate (I had to lighten the pic to see it)
Why would that be there? consignment? I mean, if you bought a vette from Proteam, and owned it for more than a week, wouldn't you remove the proteam front plate?

The engine in the 65 is most likely an LS6 from a C5 Z06. If they put the Z06 405hp badges on the car then I think it's safe to assume that. It is not an LS2 from a 2005. The person that told you it's from a 2005 needs to bone up on their Vette motors.

At one time I would have assumed the price was in Canadian Dollars. But in today's world, CAD = USD, no need to do a conversion.
