Hey Jim, I've never liked blown Vettes until yours came along. Everything is so right about how you combined all your mods. The best part is how it sits, that is sweet. Thumbs up. Great car.

Yes i had it back together and looking really nice. But i was loosing car shows because my wires in the engine bay were not organized and some of the interior had cracks in it. So this winter everything comes out and installing new interior and get the engine bay looking perfect. The car will look the same but better and i have redesigned graphics. I also have another major mod i want to do but i won't post pics of it till its done Maybe 2 major mods

Please dont take this the wrong way, but, the one thing that stands out like a sore thumb is the design on the rear quarter panels, too busy, too much,i think it would do alot better without this .Your car is really nice looking if it wasnt for that,it doesnt need it.The design takes away from the car.Alot of people that vote might feel the same way.Try it without the designs, see what happens.Again ,you have a beautiful car.

Good idea... Once it is painted I'll post some pics before graphics are added. In fact i might as well start another rebuild thread and post pics along the way.

and Thanks for the compliments

It's a 6-71 that's 3% underdriven. It's probably lucky to make a couple pounds of boost.

Jim: Love the car -

I'm from St. Louis area also (Robertsville) I work in Wildwood and I've seen you coming down Wild Horse Creek Road several times - I wave at you and give you a thumbs up everytime because you have one of the coolest vettes I've ever seen.

I have always wanted a vette but seeing yours made me really want one. Which I just got mine this past weekend.

Thanks

Hey Jim,

I just got a 1980 with a new 383 crate motor and rebuilt tranny. It's cream colored and body is in great shape, it runs great and most everything works. I need to get some new tires and restore the interior and fix some small things. I picked it up for $7500

I drive past Wildhorse Creek Road and Reiger Rd. twice a day. Yes, I'd like to stop by sometime and check out your ride. Where at on Reiger are you?

Thanks,

Bill
