Accidental Parade
Funny story but true...
Our little girl was in the Christmas parade...but I was supposed to go fishing that day. My girlfriend needed my truck so I had a plan...
I'd watch the parade...leave my GF the truck and take the Vette to go fishing...
Rolling down the freeway in the vette....3 miles from the lake and pop....altinator belt breaks... I pull off and there's a parts store. I buy the belt, they lend me some tools and I fix it in their parking lot....
BUT....while thats happening - they set up THEIR town parade....I CANT GET OUT OF THE PARKING LOT...!!!!!!!
I nose out of the driveway but there is no way I'm gonna get out now....I'm screwed...
But here comes a row of about 10 or 15 Vettes in the parade ! I says to myself...NO....dont...TOO LATE !!! I hop out and they let me in ! I'm in the Christmas parade...waving to everyone....AWESOME ! At my first chance, I turn and I'm out !
Made it to the lake...my friends tell me "you can't even make up a story that good !" We laughed, drank and fished !

I was in that parade for about a mile and a half untill I found a corner I could turn at ! City of Yucipa CA.....
