Those are beautiful examples and I am certain Gordon is getting excited about what his will look like in the future.

Gordon, any update? Is the 72 in Virginia yet? Let me know if I can help.

The weather is not helping matters much. It loos like south of the PA turnpike is being rained on. I have this Friday I'm going to see if I can get the truck and trailer lined up for. I'd leave early Am and be home that afternoon. If not maybe next week sometime if the weather holds out. Once you get west of Philadelphia they have way less snow. I was in State College yesterday and they do not have much at all compared to here.

I just confirmed that i have the truck trailer for Tuesday. It should be home Tuesday afternoon. I will leave Tuesday at 5AM. Hopefully I should have a few pictures of it then. It will be naked with no trim on it though.

Excellent, thank you Gordon. Nude Corvette pictures, very sexy.

New to C3's. Is there a height difference over the carb between the LT1 hood and the L88?

Yes. Depending on the L88 hood there could be anywhere from 2 to 5 inches difference. Not all aftermarket L88 hoods are the same.

You must be excited to get your baby back!!! I can't remember, but did you have an L-88 hood before? If not, you will love the new bad attitude it gives the car! It really makes the car look meaner!

I had the LT1 hood on the car. The car has been so far from the LT1 it once was for so many years I figured it was time to do away with the LT1 hood. The hood is now on its way overseas. Always liked the L88 hood design.
