I JUST WENT IN THE GARAGE, I FOUND IT!!!!! iTS THERE WITH GOOD INK!!!! THANKS..... Now next week my days off I have to remove the tank. The only hard part I see is getting it out between my mufflers. My exhaust is all welded. But I believe I can do it. I can't belive it. I undid those bolts that you just mentioned, I pulled back the tin. All kinds of dirt fell out! I took a mirror and saw the paper with all ink. I am hyped up now.
When you get to it use a single edged razor blade and "remove the glue from the shield" not the sticker from the glue. Scrape the paint from the shield with the blade if you have to in order to not damage the sticker. You can repaint the shield. mike...
