Default Mid winter update pics

I been working on a project for past few weeks, well today it got up to a scorching 40 degrees with some sun, and since I am done with the biggest part of my project I decided to pull the car outside and check it over in the sun light. I started out polishing the aluminum trim (windshield frame, rocker panel trim, ect..) then I touched up some chips and scratches. It eventually turned into a complete wet sanding job. Keep in mind it is not done yet, I still have to detail it and get all the compound and wax out of all the cracks and finish polishing a few more pieces but here's what I got done so far... Enjoy

I have the original rack but its in sad shape so I made it into a shelf to hold the roof panels up out of the way when they aren't on the car. If I could find another in decent shape I will put one back on it, but if I can't find one I'm going to glass the holes over when I repaint the car.

Ironman, what do you use when you you touch up chips and cracks? I've always been told to use a match tip, rather than the brush that comes in the tube of paint. Just curious, as I have 2 chips I'd like to fix. Thanks, Mike

I got touch up paint from the chip Dr that came with its own little brush that worked really well. I've used tooth picks to dab paint into tiny spots and Q tips before but I had a few spots that were deep and decent size that got spot putty'd sanded then airbrushed with touch up paint and clear. Can't even tell they were ever there.
